The Edwardson Civic Scholars Program at Chicago Booth offers a full-tuition scholarship for Evening and Weekend MBA applicants committed to public- or social-sector careers.
In addition to taking courses as an MBA student, Edwardson Scholars join a cohort experience that includes specialized programming, dedicated faculty directors, and unique opportunities to engage with industry leaders in the civic space.
詁棗棗喧堯s Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation ensures the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program integrates the school's business fundamentals with evidence-based research and experience-based learning opportunities that bolster your social sector work.
The Application Process
The process to be considered for the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program Scholarship is straightforward. For additional details, see Part-Time MBA 飯排眻畦.
Heres how the Edwardson Civic Scholars process takes shape.
To apply, you must start the Evening MBA or Weekend MBA application for the Autumn quarter. Then, in the essay section, select yes to the question that asks, Do you want to be considered for the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program?
By selecting yes, you are prompted to respond to an essay question that asks, How would the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program better equip you for your social impact career post-MBA?" (400 words maximum.)
Program and faculty directors will review submissions for the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program, while the admissions team reviews your application for admissions.
Program and faculty directors determine which applicants they want to interview for the Edwardson Civic Scholars Program. These interviews are held virtually and are by invitation only. If you are selected for one of these interviews, you will be notified. If you are not selected for this interview, you are no longer being considered for the scholarship and you will be informed of this.
