


Biography
Susana Vasquez is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Strategy at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
She is faculty instructor for Housing and Social Impact Lab (BUSN 42712) and Perspectives on Capitalism (BUSN 33250/33251).
In addition to teaching, Susana is the principal and founder of epiku, llc, a consulting practice focused on people and strategy.
Susana brings more than 30 years experience in community development and has provided senior leadership for academic, national, regional, and community institutions, including the University of Chicago, IFF, LISC, and the Resurrection Project. Additionally, she has served on nonprofit boards of directors including Court Theatre, University of Chicago Charter Schools, SkyArts, NFP, ChangeLab Solutions, and the Chicago Foundation for Women.
She began her career as a community organizer with the Chicago Affordable Housing and Community Jobs Campaign.
A graduate of Harvard University (MPA 2003) and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (BA 1992), she most recently earned a certificate from Northwestern University’s Executive Learning and Organizational Change program (2024).
